Flying Start Wrexham
Mother Goose Nursery is accredited to deliver the Flying Start programme in Wrexham. This Welsh Government-funded programme is designed to give young children in Wales the best possible start. Eligible families with two-year-olds can access up to five free childcare sessions each week here at Mother Goose Nursery. During the school term, we offer 2.5-hour sessions every weekday morning, running for a total of 39 weeks each year.

Foundation Phase Education
The Welsh Government provides funding to ensure that all three- to four-year-olds in Wales have access to Foundation Phase nursery education. Each child is entitled to a minimum of 10 hours of funded part-time sessions per week. Wrexham's local authority has approved Mother Goose Nursery to deliver this early years provision. The curriculum adopts a child-led approach, is tailored to the individual interests and needs of each child and encourages them to make their own choices.
Childcare Offer for Wales
The Childcare Offer for Wales is a Welsh Government-funded initiative that supports eligible families with children aged 3 and 4 years old. Eligible families can access up to 30 hours of funded early education and childcare each week, for up to 48 weeks of the year. Parents or guardians can apply if they are working, studying or in training.
Shropshire Childcare Funding
For parents living over the border, Shropshire Council offers a range of funding options that could contribute to childcare at Mother Goose Nursery. Funding is available for eligible families starting when your child is 9 months old. You could receive 15 hours of government-funded childcare per week for babies and toddlers and 30 hours of free childcare per week for 3- to 4-year-olds.
Tax-free Childcare
Eligible families can receive tax-free childcare by setting up an online childcare account. This allowance can be used toward the cost of childcare at Mother Goose Nursery.
